After just missing out on their first Scudetto since 2001 (much to the dismay of Sabrina Ferilli fans), Italian Serie A giant AS Roma is primed for another season of league and UEFA Champions League action.
The Giallorossi are currently in pre-season training and have signed mercurial Brazilian international Adriano. AS Roma has also unveiled their 2010/11 Kappa home, away, third and European kits for the new season. Here is your first look at them.
All kits feature the Roma’s traditional kit colours – maroon red for home, white for away and black for third. Of note is that Roma’s home maroon red with a golden yellow trim represents the traditional colors of the Eternal City, the official seal of the comuni features the same colors. The gold symbolizes God in Roman Catholicism, while the maroon represents imperial dignity.
