Landon Donovan’s 91st minute strike saved the United States from elimination and assured them of top spot in Group C of the 2010 FIFA World Cup. The USA will now meet lone African Round of 16 qualifier Ghana in Rustenburg on Sunday. Algeria was eliminated from the competition with the result.
