English Premier League side Everton FC has officially launched its le coq sportif 2010/11 away outfield player kit and goalkeeper kit.
According to the Everton website:
The new strip was officially launched at the Club’s Everton One store by midfield star Leon Osman, who greeted hundreds of fans eager to be first in the queue to get one.
The Blues’ new away kit features two high contrast colours — lightning pink and navy blue — a combination that has been designed to make players more visible in their teammates’ peripheral vision…
Everton chief executive Robert Elstone explained: “This new kit takes its inspiration from our Club’s history, indeed it dates back to the 1890/91 season when Everton were crowned league champions for the very first time.“The old pink kit saw Everton crowned champions, we want this new kit to help take Everton to the next level.”
