Redesigned & Relaunched: Uruguay Puma World Cup 2010 Away Kit / Camiseta

The Uruguay Puma 2010/12 home and away kits were initially launched in March. These were the strips that the two-time FIFA World Cup champions were expected to wear during this summer’s tournament in South Africa.

However, following an uproar from fans of La Celeste Olímpica (The Olympic Sky Blue), kit manufacturer Puma and the Asociación Uruguaya de Fútbol (Uruguay Football Association) collaborated to redesign the Uruguay away kit. Gone is the previous gold jersey in favour of a white shirt with sky blue accents. Expect to see it in action when Uruguay meeting South Africa in World Cup 2010 Group A action on June 16th.
