[digg=http://digg.com/soccer/UEFA_Champions_League_and_Europa_League_Quarter_Finals_Draws]The roads to the finals of the 2009/10 UEFA Champions League and Europa League have been mapped out via today’s drawing for the quarter-finals of both tournaments.
With many of Europe’s elite clubs still in contention, a series of intriguing matchups are on the table in both competitions. These include holders FC Barcelona being drawn against Arsene Wenger’s young but impressive Arsenal side, Manchester United meeting a resurgent FC Bayern and French sides Lyon and Bordeaux clashing to guarantee the presence of a French team in the semi-finals of the Champions league for the first time since Monaco’s run to the final in 2004.
