Video: FC Barcelona 2 – Malaga 1 (Spanish La Liga Highlights)

An 84th minute strike from Lionel Messi gave FC Barcelona a hard fought win over Malaga in the Spanish Liga on Saturday. The win ensured Barcelona top spot in La Liga for yet another week.

Having temporarily lost their position atop of the league table because of Real Madrid’s 5-1 thumping of Tenerife earlier in the day, Barca opened the scoring in the 69th minute on a Pedro goal. However, Malaga surprisingly equalized in the 81st via a goal from Valmiro Valdo.
