Yokohama F. Marinos Nike 2010 Home and Away Kits

Yokohama F. Marinos is a Japanese football team which participates in the fully professional Japan Professional Football League; the top professional football (soccer) league in Japan.

Having won the J-League title three times and finished second twice, the team is one of the most successful J-League clubs. The team is based in Yokohama and was founded as the company team of Nissan Motors. The club was formed by the merger of Yokohama Marinos and Yokohama Flügels in 1999. The current name is intended to reflect both Marinos and Flügels. The team name Marinos means ‘sailors’ in Spanish. With the relegation of JEF United Ichihara Chiba to J2, Marinos becomes the club longest currently in the top flight, having been at this level since 1982.

Yesterday, Yokohama F. Marinos unveiled their Nike 2010/11 home and away kits. They feature a modified version fo the Nike V is for Victory design made famous by the Manchester United Nike 2009/10 home jersey.
