The adidas FIFA World Cup 1970 – 2006 Soccer Ball Collection

[digg=http://digg.com/soccer/The_adidas_FIFA_World_Cup_1970_2006_Soccer_Ball_Collection]As anticipation for FIFA World Cup 2010 grows, official FIFA World Cup ball provider adidas has recreated every official FIFA World Cup ball since 1970 to celebrate the 2010 FIFA World Cup.

The ball collection has been launched in a special package that contains all 10 of the legendary match balls from the 1970-2006 FIFA World Cups. The package is known as the Official Historical World Cup Soccer Ball Set of 10 by adidas.

Each ball comes with its own ring stand commemorating the year in which it was used. Also included in the package will be a ring for the official 2010 adidas FIFA World Cup Ball (to be launched on December 4th, 2009).

Each regulation size ball is constructed just as the original was made – with the exact materials and manufacturing technique. This means each ball in the collection is identical to the original for that given year.
