Liverpool’s New Shirt Sponsor is Standard Chartered Bank

Liverpool Football Club have announced the signing of a shirt sponsorship deal with British-based bank Standard Chartered. The deal is estimated to be worth some 20 million pounds (22 million euros, 33.2 million dollars) per season and will run from 2010 through 2014.

Under the new sponsorship contract Standard Chartered’s  logo and name will replace Carlsberg as the main sponsor on the English Premier League club’s shirt starting in the 2010 season.

Carlsberg has been Liverpool’s shirt sporting since the 1992-93 season.
