Video: Holland 1 –England 2 (UEFA Women’s Euro 2009)

[digg=http://digg.com/soccer/Holland_1_n_England_2_UEFA_Women_s_Euro_2009]Substitute Jill Scott’s header four minutes from the end of extra-time gave England’s women a 2-1 victory over Holland Tampere, Finland today to take their place in the final of UEFA Women’s Euro 2009 tournament.

England opened the scoring against the Dutch with a Kelly Smith goal from Eniola Aluko’s pass in the 61st minute.

The Netherlands hit back three minutes later on a Marlous Pieete drive.

England will meet the winner of tomorrow’s match-up between Germany and Norway in the final on September 10th.
