Video: Mexico 1 –Panama 1 (CONCACAF Gold Cup 2009 Highlights)

Mexico and Panama drew 1-1 in an ill-tempered CONCACAF Gold Cup match last night at the Reliant Stadium in Houston, Texas. Mexico finished without manager Javier Aguirre andown to 10 men, while Panama ended with nine on the field.

Miguel Sabah gave Mexico the 1-0 advantage in the 10th minute. Panama equalized in the 29th minute courtesy of Blas Perez’s workmanlike effort.

The Panamanian players were left to huddle in the middle of the field after the game as they waited for a hostile, pro-Mexico crowd to exit Reliant Stadium.
