One time English Premier League outfit Leicester City Football Club (also known as The Foxes) is an English professional football club based at the Walkers Stadium in the city of Leicester. On April 18 2009, Leicester City were crowned 2008-09 champions of this English Football League One and thus secured automatic promotion back to the Coca Cola Championship for the 2009/2010 season.
Today, Leicester City evening unveiled their Joma away kit that will be worn for the club’s 2009/10 Championship campaign. According to the Foxes’ website:
The shirt will be worn for the first time in a competitive match against Macclesfield Town in the Carling Cup 1st round on Wednesday August 12th and for our first away league game of the season against Ipswich Town.
Proudly sporting the LOROS logo on the front of the shirt, the kit is a replica of the first shirt worn by the club in 1884, and is a similar design to the away shirt worn during the club’s last stint in the Premier League during the 2003/04 season. This shirt proved to be the most popular away shirt in the club’s history.
