West Bromwich Albion 2009/10 Umbro Away Kit / Jersey

West Bromwich Albion have returned to the Football League Championship for the 2009/10 season following their relegation from the English Premier League. Given their recent success in the second tier of English soccer, a prompt return to the Premiership is certainly a possibility.

Following last month’s launch of their new home kit, the Baggies today unveiled their new Umbro away kit for the 09/10 season. According to West Brom’s website:

The new away shirt sees the club return to red, with navy detailing and silver pinstripes on the front and back.

It has a contemporary rounded neckline, a retro-style WBA monogram on the back collar area and will be enhanced by the club’s bespoke silver-and-white numbering and lettering, which is exclusive to the Baggies in the Football League this term.

The shirt will be worn with navy shorts featuring silver panels on the sides, and navy socks embellished with silver pinstripe hoops.

The strip incorporates UMBRO’s state-of-the-art Climate Control ‘Nano’ technology, which enhances the movement of moisture away from the body.
