Michael Owen today confirmed he will be leaving relegated Newcastle when his contract expires at the end of June. The 29-year-old one-time England striker has stated that he would like to continue to play English Premier League football but is open to moves abroad.
In anticipation of their client’s desire to remain at top flight footballer, Owen’s management company has been circulating a dossier to potential buyers highlighting the former wunderkind’s talent that led to his 158 goals for Liverpool and 40 goals for England.
Like many others, we’ve been wondering what this brochure looks like. Fortunately for us, the Daily Mail has obtained a copy of it and displayed all 32 pages of Owen promotion on their website. Check it out at this link.
Good thing Owen made a rumoured £100,000-a-week at St James’ Park because this brochure doesn’t look like it was cheap to produce. A YouTube video similar to the one that Martyn Lancaster’s wife made of him when he was out of contract would have been much cheaper. Martyn’s video got him a contract with Queen of the South Football Club in Scotland.
Here are a some of the more entertaining pages from the document.
