Wycombe Wanderers Football Club is an English football team from High Wycombe in Buckinghamshire. They were promoted to Football League One at the end of the 2008/09 season. The club’s official nickname is “The Chairboys.”
Wycombe have their new Joma home kit for the 2009/10 campaign at Adams Park on Tuesday afternoon. According to the club’s site:
The stylish strip has been designed by the club’s new manufactures Joma, who are responsible for producing the shirts of elite Spanish sides such as Sevilla, Racing Santander and Deportivo La Coruña.
Peter Taylor’s boys will now take to the field in the thoroughly modern looking outfit, which has also been designed with a nod to the club’s glory days. The traditional two-tone blue quarters now mimic the colours donned by the famous Wanderers sides of the early nineties, an era where Martin O’Neill’s outfit made Wembley a second home during years of unprecedented success.
