[digg=http://digg.com/soccer/Norwich_City_Football_Club_s_2009_11_Aviva_Away_Kit_Jersey]Who can forget April 9, 2005 when then English Premier League strugglers Norwich City Football Club defeated mighty Manchester United 2-0? Since then the Canaries have lingered in the English Football League Championship and are now fighting to avoid the drop to League One.
Yesterday, Norwich City FC unveiled their new 2009-11 Xara away kit at the grounds of Norwich Cathedral. First team players Gary Doherty, Adam Drury, Sammy Clingan, Darel Russell and Cody McDonald modelled the new kit.
The Canaries 2009-11 kit features several notable design elements including ‘On the Ball City’ embroidered on the back of the shirt’s collar. Additionally, according to Norwich’s website: “The front of the neck is elasticated for improved comfort. A mesh effect is sported down both sides and subtle green piping and trim is on both the shirts and shorts.”
