The Polish Football Association (PZPN) recently agreed a six-year kit kit sponsorship deal with Nike.
Earlier today the 2009/10 Nike Poland home and away national team kits were unveiled by Poland star and Nike athlete, Jakub BÅ‚aszczykowski. The Bialo-czerwoni will wear the new kits during their 2010 FIFA World Cup qualification campaign. The new kit unveiling took place on Wronki where Poland have begun training for their decisive matches at home against Northern Ireland (March 28) and away to San Marino (April 1).
The Bialo-czerwoni had originally worn a temporary Nike kit for their games against Lithuania, and Wales. This was because Nike needed a few months to create a finalized product.
Of the new strips, Poland boss Leo Beenhakker said, “It is indeed a very nice kit, surely an improvement over the last ones we had. They seem very light, which is a good thing as we will need to play a fast paced game in Belfast.”
