Giovanni Trapattoni’s men will wear the new strips for the first time in their FIFA World Cup 2010 Group 8 qualifier away to Italy on April 1, 2009.

In the pictures below, the new Irish kit is modeled by Ireland international footballers Kevin Kilbane, Noel Hunt and Dean Kiely (in the goalkeeper strip). The outfield player jersey features a spaced bar shadow effect and a dark green pin stripe hooped around the body.
