Athletic Club 2018/19 New Balance Away Kit

Today New Balance has officially revealed the new 2018/19 away kit for Spanish La Liga side Athletic Club. Taking inspiration from the original team blue and white colours used before 1909 the kit is part of the “Loyal to the Last” campaign, which marks the club’s 120th anniversary.

It will be available at  World Soccer Shop, Subside Sports, UK Soccer Shop,  Pro:Direct Soccer, Lovell Soccer and Kitbag.

The Athletic Club 18/19 alternate kit has been engineered using innovative NB DRY technology. The Jersey wicks moisture away from the skin to help keep players fresh and dry from first to final whistle.

The design of the 2018/19 away shirt is based on the original half and half kit used by the club prior to 1909, using Dazzling Blue and Surf the Web Blue stripes. Alongside this nod to the club’s origins, the design of the kit takes further inspiration from architecture and design of the iconic San Memes Stadium.

The shirt features a crew neck collar, top shoulder bonded tape, and an embroidered crest as well as a ‘120’ detail on the back of the neck, a further reminder of the club’s anniversary.

Surf the Web Blue shorts complete the look, featuring a concealed stretch fabric insert which also runs down the side of the shirt.

The goalkeeper away shirt has been engineered in line with the outfield players’ jerseys and is Frost Grey with Black pattered sleeves and embroidered logo and crest. The kit is completed with Frost Grey shorts and socks, with a black cuff to the lower sock.
