Charlton Athletic ‘Back to The Valley’ 25th Anniversary Kit

Former Premier League side Charlton Athletic Football Club will mark the 25th Anniversary of their return to The Valley ground when they host Portsmouth in EFL League One action on Saturday.

The Addicks will wear a special edition home kit from technical sponsor hummel for the repeat of the December 5th, 1992 fixture that ended the team’s seven year absence from their stadium.

The shirt is a modern interpretation of the red polo collared jersey worn by Charlton during their 1992/93 Division 1 run. hummel has emulated the dazzle fabric look of some two and a half decades ago.

It has a white single-buttoned placket along with tonal hummel chevrons on its sleeves and shoulders. A pennant with the text “RETURN TO THE VALLEY” appears under the Charlton Athletic crest. The back of the waistline features a print that includes details around the goal scored in the historic back twenty five years ago.
