Three-time Copa Libertadores and thirty six-time Argentine Primera División champions Club Atlético River Plate have dropped their 2017/18 away kit.
The release of the new Millonarios (Millionaires) alternate shirt follows the launch of their 17/18 home kit two weeks ago.
River Plate’s 2017/18 away jersey is a mainly red affair that used a new v-neck template from adidas. The brand’s three stripes appear in white along the flanks of the shirt. The collar and sleeves of the kit are in a darker shade of than the rest of it.
A series of tonal waves that include blocks of adidas’ three stripes run along the jersey’s front. The design element is inspired by the club’s name. The shirt’s overall look is based on River’s 1993 away kit.
River Plate will debut their 2017/18 adidas away kit when they host Atlético Tucumán in Superliga action on Sunday.
