Aston Villa 2017/18 Under Armour Home and Away Kits

In the news this week for signing Chelsea legend John Terry, Aston Villa Football Club are in the midst of preparing for a run at promotion from the Football League Championship back to the Premier League.

One of two major English clubs wearing kits from Under Armour (the other is Southampton ), Aston Villa have released their 2017/18 home and away kits. Both will be available at World Soccer Shop, Subside Sports, Kitbag and UK Soccer Shop.

The Aston Villa 2017/18 home and away shirts use a new, bespoke design from Under Armour that features a ribbed v-neck collar that leads to a pentagon-shaped insert at the front. The primary shirt is in Villa’s famed claret with light blue sleeves.

The lion from the AVFC crest is repeated within the fabric of the jersey. It is also embroidered on the kit’s signoff area.

Aston Villa’s 17/18 away kit is all black with a claret chestband that is bordered in sky blue. A pattern made up of squares in various shades of claret appears within the chest band.

A Premier League / Division 1 fixture from  1988 to 2016, Aston Villa kick off their 2017/18 Championship season against relegated Hull City on August 5th.
