Sunderland 2017/18 adidas Home Kit

The Sunderland AFC 2017/18 adidas h0me kit was worn for the first time by Sunday League team Dawdon Welfare Park FC in their win over fellow amateurs Hall Farm Glasshus FC.

Available soon at World Soccer Shop, UK Soccer Shop, Subside Sports and Kitbag, the Black Cats’ new primary shirt features the club’s famous red and white vertical stripes. The stripes are noticeably thinner than those on recent Sunderland home jerseys. They are based on those used on the team’s shirts of the 1880s. The back of the kit is all red.

The Sunderland 17/18 adidas home kit has a black crewneck collar that matches with its adidas shoulder stripes and sleeve cuffs. It is accompanied by black shorts and socks that both have red and white detailing.

Relegated from the Barclays Premier League at the end of the 2016/17 season, Sunderland will play in the English Football League Championship for the first time since 2007 time out.
