Borussia Mönchengladbach have unveiled their last home kit from Kappa (their technical partner since 2013) before switching to PUMA at the start of the 2018/19 season.
The Borussia Mönchengladbach 2017/18 Kappa home kit uses a brand new, bespoke design from the Italian sportswear wear. In the traditional home white of Gladbach, it has a high, modern rounded collar. A series of embossed pinstripes run along the front of the jersey. A large embossed version of the club’s crest appears on the lower half of the shirt’s front.
The bottom half of the jersey’s raglan sleeves, side panels and rear collar are all in the black of the Borussia Mönchengladbach crest. The team’s often used away green is used for the inside neckline. “Fohlenelf” (Foals) is embroidered in white at the back of the collar in a nod to the club’s nickname of Die Fohlen (The Foals).
White shorts and socks that both have black detailing complete the new Borussia Mönchengladbach primary uniform.
Borussia Mönchengladbach will debut their 17/18 home kit when they host relegated SV Darmstadt 98 in the last round of German Bundesliga action on Saturday.
