Houston Dynamo 2017 adidas Home Jersey

Rebuilding following a forgettable 2016 campaign, two-time MLS Cup winners Houston Dynamo today revealed their 2017 adidas home jersey.

Available in the lead up to the 2017 Major League Soccer season at World Soccer Shop, Kitbag and UK Soccer Shop along with the Dynamo’s 2016/17 away shirt. It uses a new adidas design features a crewneck collar, shoulder stripes and contrasting sleeve cuffs. Several new 2017 MLS kits to date are using the template.

According to the Houston Dynamo: Space City Blue returns to the home kit for the first time since 2010, with blue horizontal pinstripes accenting the club’s traditional orange shirt. The rest of the kit features white shorts with Space City Blue accent stripes, leaving behind the traditional orange stripes, and orange socks with Space City Blue pinstripes to match the jersey.

The club motto, “FOREVER ORANGE,” is on the back of the jersey beneath the collar, and the front of the jersey bears the club crest with two silver stars representing the club’s back-to-back MLS Cup wins in 2006 and 2007.

The BHP Billiton logo proudly displayed in the middle of the jersey, showcasing the strong relationship between the company and the Dynamo. The Texas flag remains a core element of the Dynamo jersey and is stitched onto the jersey just above the hemline.
