River Plate 2016 Copa Argentina Champions adidas Kit

Club Atlético River Plate won their first Copa Argentina title last week courtesy of a 4-3 win over Rosario Central. The win also secure a place for River in the 2017 Copa Libertadores.

The thirty-six time Primera División and three-time South American champions celebrated their latest triumph in a limited edition kit during the Copa Argentina awards ceremony and post-match celebrations at the Estadio Mario Alberto Kempes last Thursday night.

An updated version of the River Plate 2016 adidas home jersey, the shirt features a passport stamp for the 2017 Copa Libertadores on its front with “Aprobado” (Approved) at its bottom. A large graphic reading “Campeón Copa Argentina. Pasaporte al Día.” (Argentine Cup Champion. Passport of the day.) and containing a held up passport is printed in black on the back of the jersey.
