Olympique Lyon 2016/17 adidas Third Kit

Olympique Lyonnais unveiled a striking black and gold 2016/17 third kit on Friday. The new “Les Gones” (The Kids) change kit will be worn in the club’s cup runs over the course of the remainder of the 16/17 season. It will make its debut during next Wednesday’s UEFA Champions League meeting with Sevilla FC.

Featuring adidas’ v-necked Condivo 16 template the Olympique Lyon 2016/17 third kit is inspired by the team’s new Stade des Lumières (Stadium of Lights) ground. It also takes inspiration from the black OL kits used during the 2000s when the club made it to the Champions League semi-finals once and quarter finals three times.

The gold adidas side stripes and sleeve cuffs on the shirt are intended to stress the strong connection between OL and the city of Lyon.

“Nous Sommes l’Olympique Lyonnais” (We are nous Olympique Lyonnais) is printed in gold on the outside upper back of the kit.
