FC Metz 2016/17 Nike Home, Away and Third Kits

Early season French Ligue 1 Football Club de Metz are wearing a three match kit range from longtime technical sponsor Nike for their 2016/17 campaign.

All three kits use a simple Nike design featuring a classic v-neck in a contrasting color to the rest of the jersey. The jerseys’ shoulder taping and sleeve cuffs feature the same color as the color. A print of the dragon on the FC Metz badge appears on the right of the shirts.

The FC Metz 16/17 Nike home kit is in their traditional maroon with white detailing. “Les Grenats” (The Maroons) alternate shirt is all white with black accenting. Their third jersey is black with white accents. The away and third shirts use the colors of the city of Metz’ flag and coat of arms.

Known for an academy that produced international stars such as Rigobert Song (Cameroon), Robert Pirès, Louis Saha (both France), Emmanuel Adebayor (Togo), Sadio Mané (Senegal), and Miralem Pjanić (Bosnia and Herzegovina), Metz were promoted back to Ligue 1 at the end of last season following a one-year stint in Ligue 2.
