Hong Kong 2016/17 Nike Home and Away Kits

Nike Football unveiled the Hong Kong 2016/17 new home and away football kits with Dri-FIT technology on Wednesday.

The new Hong Kong home shirt balances two shades of red, reflecting the team’s fighting spirit and paying homage to the Hong Kong’s signature color.

Two odes to national pride appear on the shirt: the half-red and half-white crest, symbolizing Hong Kong’s unique “One Country, Two Systems” governing principle, on the chest and “Hong Kong” on the shirt’s back collar.

The Hong Kong 16/17 away jersey uses the same Nike design as the primary shirt in a white base with red detailing.

The sides of both the home and away kits feature a red stripe that runs the length of the shirt and shorts. Expanding when the player is in motion, the stripe maximizes ventilation and reveals a subtle flash of underlying white.

White socks, with a red linear graphic on the calf, finish the home kit and accentuate speed. Hong Kong wears red socks, with a white linear graphic, when playing away.

The Hong King 2016/17 Nike home kit will debut on-pitch in an international friendly game against Cambodia on September 1 at Mongkok Stadium.
