Sheffield Wednesday FC 2016/17 Sondico Home, Away and Third Kits

Sheffield Wednesday Football Club is wearing a three kit match range from Sondico for their 2016/17 Football League Championship, FA Cup and League Cup seasons. All three will be on sale at Sondico parent company Sports Direct in the coming weeks.

The Owls 16/17 home jersey is the first to replace the 149 year old club’s famous blue and white stripes with a blue base and white pinstripes since an infrequently used 1962/63 kit. Launched with mixed input from SWFC’s fans, the shirt has a classic polo collared design.

The Sheffield Wednesday 2016/17 Sondico away and third kits use a time-tested football shirt look featuring a v-neck / polo collar combination. The alternate shirt is black with orange accenting while the third jersey has a white base with sky blue detailing.

A Premier League founding member in 1992, Sheffield Wednesday have campaigned in the English second (Championship) and third (League One) divisions of football since their relegation from the EPL in 2000.
