Olympiacos FC 2016/17 adidas Home Kit

Greek Superleague Greece champions for the last six seasons in a row, Olympiacos FC unveiled their 2016/17 adidas home kit on Friday.

Released using the hashtag #REDALWAYSRULES, the Greek powerhouse used the kit launched to introduce their revamped club shop, the Red Store, to their fans.

The shirt features a brand new design from adidas Greece. It features the famous red and white vertical stripes of Olympiacos with a heavier use of red than in recent years. The stripes only appear on the front of the jersey while its back, sleeves and shoulders are in all red. The kit is completed by red shorts and socks.

The neckline of the kits is a modern crewneck affair with the text “WE KEEP ON DREAMING” printed in white on its inside back area. Four golden stars area embroidered above the Olympiacos Piraeus crest is recognition of their forty three Greek league titles.

In keeping with a trend in most of adidas’ 16/17 shirts, the German brands iconic three stripes run along the kit’s sides. They are in white while the adidas logo on the right breat of the jersey is in red.

Olympiacos FC first teamers Kostas Fortounis, Chori Dominguez, Brown Ideye, Pajtim Kasami and Dimitri Syowa along with several youth team players were on hand at the launch event to model the new kit.

The Olympiacos FC 2016/17 adidas home kit will be on sale at UK Soccer Shop and World Soccer Shop.
