Mainz 05 2016/17 Lotto Home Kit

Sixth placed finishers in the German Bundesliga last weekend, 1. FSV Mainz 05 debuted their 2016/17 home kit (available soon at Subside Sports and UK Soccer Shop) during their final match of the season.

Provided by club outfitter Lotto Sport, the Die Nullfünfer (The O-Fives) new home shirt introduces a new template from the Italian firm called “Galaxy”. It has a classic look about it thanks to a traditional polo collar. Modern touches are added through while sleeve cuffs that contain the Lotto logo and the use of an ultra light jacquard fabric.

The Mainz 05 2016/17 Lotto home shirt is in the team’s usual red. It is matched with white shorts and red socks. Red shorts are will be matched with the jersey when needed.

Mainz 05 manager Christian Heidel. commented: “Our new jersey combines traditional features like the Mainz-05 logo, the club colors and our founding year with the latest textile technology and sporty design. A great jersey, which will be seen by our team in the coming season in Europe.”

A fixture in the Bundesliga since earning promotion from the 2. Bundesliga in 2009, Mainz 05 will play in the group stage of the UEFA Europa League for the first time next season.
