AIK 2016/17 adidas Home and Away Kits

Eleven-time Swedish champions AIK Fotboll have dropped their 2016/17 home and away kits from adidas. They are also the Stockholm-based side’s 125th Anniversary shirts.

AIK’s 2016/17 home jersey is in their traditional all black with yellow detailing. It uses a new adidas design featuring a crewneck collar and ventilated shoulders. The away shirt has a minimalist look with a v-neck collar and black accenting and branding. Both has a golden star above the AIK badge in recognition of the club’s first ten Allsvenskan titles.

Special 125th Anniversary edition versions of the AIK 16/17 adidas home and away kits are available. They feature a patch on their right sleeves with an image of club founder Res Isidor. Each number on the back of the kits contain different imagery within them with legendary AIK players such as Sven “Dala” Dahlkvist, Ivan Turina, Kurre Hamrin, Bernt Ljung, Jyrki Nieminen, Ingvar “Tjotta” Olsson, Theodor “Thodde” Malm, Erik “Tjocka-Berka” Bergqvist and Andreas Andersson.
