Albania EURO 2016 Macron Home and Away Kits Launched

After publishing their designs in January, the Albanian Football Federation (Federata Shqiptare e Futbollit) and new technical partner Macron unveiled the Albania EURO 2016 home, away and third kits at an elaborate event in Tirana on Thursday. The home and away kits are now on sale at UK Soccer Shop, Kitbag and Subside Sports.

In home red, away white and third black, the first ever Albania kits provided from Italian firm Macron all use the same design. It features what Macron describes as a “Korean” collar along with a stylized version of the eagle on the Albanian flag on its front. A series of fading horizontal lines run along the front of the jersey below the each.

The phrase “TI SHQIPЁRI MЁ JEP NDER” is printed on the inside neck of the “ALBANIA” appears on the signoff area at the back of all three shirts. A patch bearing the logo of the UEFA EURO 2016 tournament will be added to the left sleeves of the Albania kits worn at this summer’s European football championship.

Albania will debut their white 2016/17 Macron away uniform when they meet Austria in an international friendly in Vienna on March 26. All three kits will continue to be worn by “Kuq e Zinjtë” (The Red and Blacks) over the next year during their 2018 FIFA World Cup qualification campaign.
