Eintracht Frankfurt 2016 Nike Special Edition “Giulia” Jersey

Relegation-threatened German Bundesliga club Eintracht Frankfurt wore a special edition kit marking the launch of the Alfa Romeo Giulia during last weekend’s draw with FC Ingolstadt 04.

What is expected to be a one-off jersey uses Nike’s ubiquitous Park 5 shirt design in all red. The Alfa Romeo logo on Eintracht’s kits has that of the new Giulia car below it. A subtle print featuring an overview of the central German city appear on the front of the kit while “IM HERZEN VON EUROPA” (In the Heart of Europe) is printed in white on its inside neck area in recognition of Frankfurt’s standing as a European logistics hub.

Ninth placed finishers in the Bundesliga last season, Eintracht are currently in sixteenth place in the Bundesliga.
