Chelsea FC 2015/16 adidas Away Kit

Chelsea Football Club have quickly followed last week’s release of their new home jersey with that of their 2015/16 away kit from outfitter adidas. Both shirts are now on sale at World Soccer Shop, Kitbag, Subside Sports and UK Soccer Shop along with The Blues 15/16 training range. All rumored black third kit may join the latest Chelsea match range soon.

The Chelsea 2015/16 away shirt is today launched as part of the club’s pre-season tour of the USA.  It will be worn for the first time against last season’s UEFA Champions League winners FC Barcelona in Washington D.C. on July 28th.

The kit features a white, red and blue colorway that has featured on several Chelsea FC away strips over the last 110 years. The club’s fans may recall that a white kit was worn by Chelsea during their UEFA Champions League-winning season in 2012. White was also the team’s secondary kit color during the 2013/14 season club legend Jose Mourinho for his second spell in charge at the club.

The key feature of the Chelsea 2015/16 adidas away kit are relatively large sleeves with prominent red and blue bands on them. The design is somewhat reminiscent of the exaggerated sleeves of 1990s football kits.  The jersey is matched with white shorts and socks in classic Chelsea blue and white.
