AS Roma 2015/16 Nike Away Kit

Nike has presented the AS Roma 2015/16 away kit. The white shirt joins the Giallorossi’s (Yellow-Reds) recently released new home uniform in their match range for the upcoming Italian Serie A, Coppa Italia and UEFA Champions League seasons. Both will be available at the World Soccer Shop, Subside Sports, UK Soccer Shop and Kitbag Roma stores.

According to Nike: The new AS Roma away kit celebrates the strong and enduring bond between the club’s players, its fans and the city of Rome. Detailing embedded into the chest of the shirt pays homage to the club’s stature within the historic Italian capital.

This new kit is infused with AS Roma’s pride in its city, its unique spirit and its status as a true club of the people. A light grey tonal graphic print on the front of the shirt connects the club to Rome’s heralded architectural wonders, ancient streets and vibrant neighborhoods.

An elegant new Henley stand collar, with a button hidden underneath the placket, adds a sense of sleek, contemporary style to the shirt.

The yellow and red cuffs on the sleeves represent the Giallorossi’s famous home colours, while there is also a yellow stripe running each of the shirt’s flanks.

The away shorts are in traditional Roma red, and feature a yellow stripe on each side that connects with the stripes on the shirt.

The numbers on the back of the away shirt also pay tribute to Rome, invoking the same city-inspired aesthetic that sits so proudly on the front of the shirt.

The new away socks are white with a wide stripe of chevrons in Roma yellow on the back of the calf.
