Sport Club Internacional 2015 Nike Home and Away Kits

Brazil’s Sport Club Internacional unveiled their 2015 Nike home and away kits at an invitation-only event in Beira-Rio on Monday. They are expected to be available at Subside Sports and UK Soccer Shop.

Modeled by “Colorado” (The Red) strikers Nilmar and Vitinho, the new uniforms are inspired by the Ruas de Fogo (Streets of Fire) celebrations held by Inter’s fans before big matches.

The SC Internacional 2015 Nike home shirt continues is in the traditional home red of the former FIFA World Club Cup champions. It uses the polo collared Nike Challenge kit template. The team’s intials (“SCI”) are printed on the inside neck of the shirt. They are surrounded by two thin circles in green and yellow(the colors of Rio Grande do Sul state flag). The kit is completed by white short and white socks.

The Internacional de Porto Alegre 2015 away shirt has a white based with a rounded neckline. Inter primary red appears on the back of the collar, on the jersey’s sleeve cuffs and on its side striping. Red also forms the prominent sash that runs diagonally along the front of the kit. There is a smoke effect within the sash that is inspired by Ruas de Fogo.

As with the home kit, “SCI” is printed on the inner neck of the new Inter alternate jersey. The text “Ruas de Fogo” appears beneath the initials.

SC Internacional will debut their 2015 Nike home kit when they host Bolivia’s The Strongest in Copa Libertadores action at the Estádio Beira-Rio on April 22nd.
