Along with the traditional blue home shirt, Rangers and PUMA have also released a stunning home goalkeeper kit in white, red and black.

According to the Rangers FC website: The 2015/16 Home kit design uses the traditional red, white and royal blue of Rangers and adds it to a striking new silhouette that features a bold contrast colour stripe on the sleeves and a sophisticated new neckline that continues the Club’s tradition of a white collar.

The new ‘formstripe” construction of the sleeve is more than just a design detail but resurrects an iconic detail from PUMA’s history. The construction removes a traditional shoulder seam to improve the fit and allow unrestricted movement.

To further enhance player comfort, the shirt has added ventilation under the arms, with a contrast panel construction that continues the red, white and blue theme. The fabric is engineered to breathe and wick moisture away from the skin. A dropped hem, picked out in a contrast colour adds an extra level of detail and sophistication.

The shorts also feature a bold stripe design, with contrast colour panels that reflect the “formstripe” detail of the short. An additional mesh panel improves player comfort and ventilation, with a flash of colour on the inside leg adds to the dynamic when the player is in motion.

The socks are engineered to offer cushioning comfort and support where the foot needs it most and provides a degree of compression to the calf muscle to improve blood flow to the leg. A black leg with a contrast colour red rib-top continues the tradition begun in 1904 to reflect the Burgh of Govan.

Scottish Premier League winners on 54 occasions, Rangers have been the victims of financial turmoil in recent years. They now campaign in the second tier of football in Scotland – The Championship.
