Umbro Releases Velocita Pro Speed Boot

Umbro today released their first boot for 2015 – the Velocita Pro. Spotted on the feet of Wolverhampton Wolves’ Benik Afobe and Atalanta’s Mauricio Pinilla, the Velocita Pro falls into the speed silo and ranks among the lightest boots on the market today.

The Velocita Pro’s launch colorway is Nimbus Cloud / Dark Shadow / Pink Glo with a black-based colorway expected to follow. It will be available at the World Soccer Shop Umbro Store.

According to Umbro: Built for multi-directional speed, the new Velocita Pro is more than simply a lightweight soccer cleat. Following a rigorous development and testing programme, the Velocita has been engineered to work with the player who needs to move in all directions – fast.

The Velocita is lightweight – the Hard Ground version is just 165 grams (5.8 oz.) – but comfort has not been made a casualty, thanks to strategically-placed padding and Umbro’s A-Frame cradle in the mid foot.
