PUMA King II Soccer Boot Released

PUMA has released the latest version of the legendary King soccer boot in the form of the technology-infused King II.

Now available at World Soccer Shop, the PUMA King II quietly enter the market without the fanfare of the German sportswear firm’s other 2014 offerings – the evoPOWER 1 and evoSPEED 1.3. This is not totally unsurprising given the cult following that a shoe that has been worn by the likes of Pele, Maradona, Eusebio and Thierry Henry has.

The King II’s specifications include a laundry list of PUMA’s recent football boot  innovations. Along with the premium leather upper that the King series is known for, the King II includes the EverFit lacing system, ComfortLast fit system and the minialistic 3D external heel counter and molded tongue.

The sole of the PUMA King II is made of lightweight Pebax and uses a modern combination of bladed and rounded studs.

After teasing the King II with a limited edition camouflage version, PUMA has used a classy Majolica Blue / White / Lime Punch colorway for first mainstream version of the boot. A White /Black /Fluo Flash Orange is now also on the market with more colorways expected in 2015.
