South Africa 2015 Nike Home and Away Kits

South Africa Football Association technical sponsor Nike today unveiled the home and away kits that will be worn by Bafana Bafana during 2015

The South Africa’s gold home and green away shirts (available soon at Subside Sports and UK Soccer Shop) will take the international spotlight in January when they meet formidable opponents Ghana, Senegal and Algeria in the group state of the 2015 African Cup of Nations.

According to Nike: The gold home jersey features a classic flat green collar with a single gold stripe on the inside back of the collar, and green cuffs on the sleeves. The Protea crest sits perfectly on the left chest, with the SAFA logo centred below the front of the V-neck. The South African flag rests on the outer back of the neck.

A solid gold stripe runs down the sides of the paired green shorts. Gold socks with a bold green top cuff complete the home kit.

The away jersey is green, paired with gold shorts and green socks, with the same features as the home kit.

The jersey and shorts feature a slimmer fit that is more tailored to the body, enabling players to perform better without the moisture drag.

South African footballer, Sibusiso Vilakazi says: “The new kit is very light and has a great fit. The simplicity of the design and the use of the our green and gold makes this a striking kit and I can’t wait to play in it.”
