Qatar 2014/15 Nike Home and Away Kits

Nike today unveiled the home and away kits to be worn by the Qatar national teams during the 2014/15 international football calendar.

The American sportswear giant says that the  new shirts celebrate the country’s identity and deliver performance-enhancing innovations and sustainable design. The Qatar Men’s National Football Team will debut their new away kit on Nov. 13 in Riyadh when they meet 2014 Gulf Cup of Nations hosts Saudi Arabia in the tournament opener.

The Qatar National Team’s home jersey features a classic football design and comes in the nation’s distinctive maroon with contrasting white cuffs. The Qatar Football Association crest is positioned on the right breast of the jersey, balanced with a Swoosh on the left side. Colored stripes on the shorts and socks correspond with the jersey’s cuffs to create a complete and stylish look. The away kit has a reverse design and is predominantly white with contrasting maroon details.

Ranked 88th in the world by FIFA, Qatar have won their last three international matches. Al-Annabi (The Maroon) will make their fifth consecutive appearance in the Asian Cup during January’s regional championship. They are grouped with Iran, UAE and Bahrain for the Australian-hosted competition.
