Catalunya 2014/15 Pony Home and Away Kits

The Catalonia Football Federation (or Federació Catalana de Futbol) has switched technical sponsors from Spain’s Astore to once Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham kit provider Pony.

The FCF went on to unveil the Catalunya 2014/15 home and away kits that are being worn a representative team called the “Selección Catalana” (Catalan Selection) at the ongoing UEFA Regions Cup.

The Catalunya 2014/15 Pony home kit is in the red and yellow stripes of the autonomous community’s flag – La Senyera. Dark blue is used for the sleeves and crew neck collar. The shirt is paired with red shorts and socks.

The Catalan 14/15 away jersey is mainly dark blue with a red Y-neck. The Senyera is represented via a vertical band on the left side of the shirt.

The text “CATALUNYA” is boldly printed on the lower back area of both kits.

Recognized by neither FIFA nor UEFA, Catalunya usually plays no more than two matches a year. The Catalan XI’s last match was a 4-1 win over Cape Verde in December 2013. The team usually features a host of FC Barcelona players. Gerard Piqué, Jordi Alba and Sergio Busquets are recent FCB call-ups to the side.
