Club Nacional de Football 2013/14 Umbro Home and Away Kits

Forty-four time Uruguay Primera División champions Club Nacional de Football recently launched their 2013/14 home and away kits from technical sponsor Umbro.

Nacional’s new home kit is in the club’s traditional white with blue and red accents. It is inspired by the shirt worn during the club’s 1971 season when it won the first of its three Copa Libertadores titles and the Intercontinental Cups. The latter came via a two-legged win over then European Cup holders Panathinaikos.

The Nacional 2013/14 home shirt features a prominent ribbed collar and sleeve cuffs in red, white and blue. A special print recognizing the club’s 21 international trophies appears on its back while three trophies in the image of the Copa Libertores cup are embroidered above the Nacional badge.

The Nacional 13/14 away kit uses a more modern Umbro shirt design and is predominantly red with touches of blue and white.
