AC Sparta Prague 2013/15 Nike Home Kit

Czech powerhouse AC Sparta Prague (Czech: AC Sparta Praha) unveiled its Nike home kit for the 2013/2014 and 2014/2015 seasons during a press conference earlier this week. Here is a detailed look at the new Železná Sparta (Iron Sparta) home jersey along with details on it from Nike.

The Czech Republic’s most successful club Sparta Prague next season will play in a classic new home kit celebrating the team’s 120th anniversary.

A clean, distinctive design takes the kit back to its roots with its traditional red color, which was first introduced in 1906. The allover red jersey has a white ribbed crossover V-neck collar and a white ribbed cuff on the sleeves. In addition to the club crest on the chest, a heritage badge with the dates 1893-2013 is placed in the center to mark the club’s anniversary.

Inside the back of the neck is a bonded woven label bearing the proud message: “My Jsme Sparta” (We are Sparta).

The new home shorts are white with a thin red stripe along each side, and the socks are black with a red band at the top and a red block on the back designed to give players greater visual acuity on the pitch.
