Coritiba Foot Ball Club Nike 2012 Away Kit

Campeonato Brasileiro Série A team Coritiba Foot Ball Club has followed the recent launched of its 2012 home and away kits with that of its new away uniform.

The new striped green and white Coxa jersey is inspired by home shirt worn by the club during the 1985 season when it won its only Campeonato Brasileiro Série A title. It was worn in match action for the first time during Sunday’s 1-2 home loss to Neymar and Santos FC.

Promoted from Série B at the end of the 2010 season, Coritiba finished last year’s Campeonato Brasileiro Série A in eight place. The club also set a new world record for consecutive wins when it won 24 straight matches between 3 February and 5 May, 2011 (as celebrated with its 2011 third kit).
