Fluminense FC adidas 110th Anniversary Jersey

Currently in third place in the 2012 Campeonato Brasileiro Série A, Rio de Janeiro-based Fluminense Football Club has released a special edition adidas 110th Anniversary jersey. The shirt joins the Fluminense 2012 home and away kits in its playing collection for the ongoing season.

The limited edition Fluminense 110th Anniversary jersey is based on the white and grey kit worn by the club from 1902 and 1904. Its launch coincides with opening of the club’s new trophy room and the 60th anniversary of its 1952 Copa Rio title.

Only 40,178 units of the new Flu shirt will be made availabe. The number represents the amount of day between the club’s founding and the kit release date of July 21, 2012.

A patch in the front bottom left corn of each Fluminense 110th kits features the inscription “Eu sou Tricolor” (“I am Tricolor”) and a unique number from 00,001 to 40,178.

The Fluminense FC adidas 110th Anniversary kit will see match action for the first time on Wednesday, July 25th in league action against Gremio.
