Shakhtar Donetsk Nike 2012/13 Away Kit

FC Shakhtar Donetsk is a Ukrainian professional soccer club from the city of Donetsk. The club is currently a powerhouse in Ukrainian soccer with seven Premier League titles since the 2001/02 season.

In European competition, Shakhtar won the 2009 UEFA Cup by defeating German team Werder Bremen 2-1 after extra time in the tournament final. Shakhtar made it to the quarter-finals of the UEFA Champions League during the 2010/11 season. The club met eventual champions FC Barcelona in the home and away series where it was defeated 6-1 on aggregate.

On Wednesday, the Shakhtar Donetsk 2012/13 away kit was launched at its Donbass Arena. It uses the same design as the 12/13 Galatasaray away kit and is expected to see action during this weekend’s Ukrainian Premier League match at Hoverla-Zakarpattia.
