FC Bayern Munich adidas 2012/13 European Kit

UEFA Champions League finalists FC Bayern Munich (German: Bayern München) have launched their adidas 2012/13 third or European kit (available now at World Soccer Shop, adidas Shop, soccer.com and Kitbag). It will make its on the field debut on August 12th in Bayern’s DFL Supercup meeting with Borussia Dortmund at the Allianz Arena.

According to adidas: Bayern will contest the new Champions League season with a very special design on their shirts. A striking striped pattern on the chest symbolises the extraordinary and unique illuminated outer skin of the Allianz Arena in Munich. For Bastian Schweinsteiger and Co, this is their first and dominant impression when they exit the tunnel and stride out onto the hallowed turf. A moment which gives the players an extra boost to their determination and motivation.

The adidas three stripes and logo are in silver. As with all other Bayern shirts, the design incorporates the traditional motto Mia san mia, we are who we are, in infrared on the dark main shade of the kit.

The release of the Bayern Munich 12/13 European kit follows that of the club’s new away shirt in late April.
